As the country prepares to celebrate the 48th Indepdance this week, it was a different story for the people of Kainantu District in Eastern Highlands province as people turn up in numbers to celebrate the five-year development plan which was launched by the Deputy Prime Minister John Rosso on the Thursday 14th of September 2023.
The Eastern Highlands Provincial Coordination and Monitoring Committee had its first meeting last week.
Thousands turned up for the launch og the tertiary students assistance program by the Kainantu District Development Authority.
