The Teaching Service Commission has approved the establishment of the Gobo All-Girls School of Excellence in Jimi District, Jiwaka Province, with operations set to begin in the 2026 academic year.

The Jimi District Development Authority [DDA] has launched new road projects to improve connectivity in one of Papua New Guinea’s most isolated regions, where poor infrastructure has long hindered access to essential services.

Leadership qualities and job performances of elected representatives become evident and are measured through the executive of their duties and responsibilities. 

The completion of Biyer-Madang Highway, will see many isolated communities in the three provinces having road access after more than 50 years.
